Along with her tenacity and intuition, Alexandra elevates her role as a Visual Designer at Oak Theory with her gusto for creativity and her altruistic spirit.
Before joining Oak Theory, Alexandra’s journey as an executive assistant began with supporting herself. With over 8 years of experience as a small business owner, she says, “I wore all the hats and there were enough to fill a haberdashery.” However, her desire to help others and contribute to a team’s success inspired her to redirect her professional goals, which eventually brought her to Oak Theory. Alexandra’s distinctive skill set as a creative designer paired with her understanding of how to run a business makes her an invaluable member of our team.
To ensure a fruitful partnership, Alexandra’s approach is rooted in being organized, being meticulous, and maintaining open communication. “There is no such thing as coordination without communication,” she affirms. As a right-brained person, Alexandra embraces having to step outside of her comfort zone when working closely with Hannah. Sales and Operations challenges her to use the left side of her brain, but she enjoys finding creative ways to solve analytical problems. One of her most fulfilling projects was orchestrating client gifts for 2023’s holiday season. From ideation and research to project management, design, budgeting, a bit of stress eating, packaging, and shipping, Alexandra masterfully guided the entire process to completion. The clients’ delighted reactions were the ultimate reward after such a whirlwind project.
Driven by an insatiable curiosity to create, the right side of Alexandra’s brain reigns supreme; she loves to embroider, crochet, make macramé, paint in Procreate, and write poetry. But her soul is the most at peace when she’s singing. As a matter of fact, she can sing in four different languages: English, Tagalog, Italian, and Spanish. “Don’t ask me if I can hold a conversation–that’s a different story,” she says with a smile.
