With a background spanning film, e-commerce, and healthcare, Jonás has honed his ability to navigate complex challenges with poise and adaptability. As a people person, he thrives in environments where collective success is the primary focus. Similar to his approach to life, Jonás’ approach as an executive assistant is rooted in tact, empathy, and listening. He emphasizes the importance of active listening in understanding an executive’s disposition, patterns, and professional goals.
From November 2023 to January 2024, Jonás headed the search for Oak Theory’s lead designer. This rigorous process involved navigating the complexities of aligning 30 candidate meetings across various time zones, conducting several interviews, and maintaining daily communication with the creative team and candidates. This project showcased Jonás’ adaptability and passion for interpersonal interaction.
Outside of work, Jonás is a crossword puzzle enthusiast and completes at least ten puzzles a day. Additionally, he is fluent in English, Ilocano, and Tagalog. “My intrusive thoughts are able to code switch,” he quips. But Jonás’ greatest passion is cinema, and according to him, “If my eyes aren’t looking at my work laptop, they’re looking at a movie screen!”
